2020 Virtual New Paltz XC Summer Series Week 3 Details

Week 3 of the Virtual New Paltz XC Summer Series is starting Monday!

This week takes us to the newish River To Ridge Trail just across the bridge at the bottom of New Paltz.

General Notes
All rules, regulations and fees are required when visiting the actual race courses.

Course

The course is approximately 3.00 miles. If you aren’t running the actual course you should run 3.00 miles. Reminder that for this virtual summer series you don’t need to run the actual course but it’s definitely more fun.

Starting & Ending just on the other side of the fence after you cross Springtown Rd you will run along the River To Ridge Trail heading towards Mohonk Preserve. You’ll get a spectacular view of the ridge as you climb up the hills after the initial flat section. Stay to your right when you get to the first intersection. After you reach the top of the 2nd hill you’ll make a left as you round back towards where you came from. A quick right brings you back onto the original trail and you’re back in no time to finish.
