After the Leaves over 2/3rds sold out

As of this moment the 2019 After The Leaves Half Marathon has 86 spots remaining with 21 days to go. At this point I’m assuming the race is going to sell out before then.

Here’s the first look at this years finisher item. Hopefully you like it as it’s a bit different from previous years but I think it’s quite unique. 🙂

2019 Rosendale Runs Results

Wow, what an absolutely amazing day to have had this race on. Beautiful bright skies with perfect temperatures allowed for some beautiful views. The colors of the leaves were out of this world out on the rail trail. I actually got to enjoy the half this year and it was spectacular. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event amazing including all of the volunteers, police and fire. Of course without runners we wouldn’t have a race at all, so thank you as well.

The food at the end was also delicious and I can never get enough chocolate milk. We hope you enjoyed the race and will spread the word for next year.

Before the results I want to apologize for not excluding the masters winners from their respective age groups. I fixed it so when looking at the results you may see you moved up a place. I really am sincerely sorry for the mix-up and promise it won’t happen next year.

If there are any issues with the results, if you have any comments or suggestions please send me an email

Rosendale Runs weather looking perfect!

Registration: http://www.rosendaleruns.org/sign-up-to-run/

With less than a week to go to the Half & 4.4 miler the weather forecast is looking glorious. I was in Rosendale today and took a trip up to the trestle and I can tell you the foliage is gorgeous. Check out the picture below.

We’re sitting at about 150 for the half and 50 for the 4.4 miler at the current moment. If you can please register ahead of time so I can make sure I have enough “medals” to give out at the finish line I would really appreciate it.

I’ve been working hard on the awards and they’re looking so good. I know it’s not a PR course, in most cases, but it might be worthwhile to push for one of the age group awards. 3 deep in both Male & Female for 10 year age groups as well as Overall and Masters (40 & Over).

I also want to mention that the 2019 After The Leaves Half Marathon is about 2/3 rds sold out. Make sure you register soon so you don’t miss out. I’ll post a new post after Rosendale Runs with a picture of this years glass and awards.
Register now though!

Rosendale Runs (Half & 4.7M) is on October 19th!

Registration: http://www.rosendaleruns.org/sign-up-to-run/

Have you registered for either of the races at Rosendale Runs yet? If not, what are you waiting for? A reasonably priced event put on by runners. $25 for the Half Marathon and $15 for the 4.7m Plains Run…you can’t beat those prices. And just because it costs less than other similar events  you won’t be missing anything!

The Rosendale Runs race will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The Town of Rosendale, in upstate New York, just 90 miles from NYC provides a beautiful venue for its 5th Half Marathon and its long standing popular 4.7 Plains Run.

Come experience breathtaking scenic views around every bend in the midst of the fall foliage. A mostly flat course, yet with just enough challenge to offer the sense of accomplishment desired.

Run across the trail that made the National Rails to Trails Conservancy’s top ten- list of most “iconic rail trails”. You will cross over the 143- year old historic Rosendale trestle bridge, which extends 900 ft. across the Rondout creek. The race will take you along scenic lakes, into a cave lit. Come experience the dramatic scenery of the enchanting town of Rosendale that helped build the Brooklyn Bridge with its natural limestone cement.

100% of the proceeds will go to “Town of Rosendale Parks and Recreation and Commitment to Kids”

Date: October 19, 2019

A distance for everyone:
Half Marathon: 8:30 am
Plains Run/Walk (4.7 miles): 8:30 am
